While watching Peter Pan with the lovely Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) as Hook, I thought, "Who would want the boy when the man is some much more interesting?"

Wendy has finally grown up and returned to Never Neverland - but not for Peter!

Based on :iconmjranum-stock: [link]
Wendy's coat pattern is from :icongtsat: [link]

I googled many references. Wendy's hair is similar Kate Winslet in Finding Neverland (I think). Hook's clothing is an amalgamation of 17-18th century men's fashion, while trying to stay somewhat true to Hook from various movies and cartoons. I also created the lace in Illustrator.

I spent hours and hours on this, so I would appreciate serious critique. If you love it, tell me WHY, and if you hate it, tell me where I went wrong.

As a massive fan of this pairing I absolutely adore this. Not only is their pose incredibly romantic, your attention to detail on their clothes and the insanely gorgeous backdrop you use make this an absolutely stunning piece all around. Thank you for making this fabulous work of art :)

This is such an interesting piece. There is a smoothness in the colours of this and yet it still has a curious motion as the pair dance. Peter flying off in the distance, to London I assume- as Wendy watches!- is shattering... there is a darkness and a fairytale light to this that somehow makes this both a jubilant and sad scene.

Sorry I'm behind on replying. No I do not mind, however, I would appreciate a link back to the post at DA, or a link to my website www.christymcnutt.com.

I think it's a cool what-if scenario, it's it's a beautifully done piece by the way! The movie did almost seem to hint at this tho between Hook and young Wendy. He'd have possibly made a move on her had she been older.

I'll have to watch the movie again. I didn't get that kind of vibe, which considering Wendy is about 12, is a bit creepy. However, I think that guy (I just call him Malfoy) is a dashing Hook.

Well, there's tons of fanfiction out there shipping those two, and it's all because of PP'03. It is sort of creepy, but Hook in a small way, has always been a bit taken with Wendy, in her courage, her gracefulness, her kindness. In the anime Peter Pan no boken, he fancied her too, and wanted to make her the pirates' mother.
