Art history was my minor in college, and I preferred greek/roman art. One of my favorites (among MANY) is the Flavian Woman, she is Roman, we don't know who she is, other than the bust was done around 100 AD. So I always wanted to know what she would have looked like and decided to also practice skin tones with her. Hence, some details are not exact, especially in the jewellry. Also, I based the jewellry on Faiyum portraits from Roman Egypt at around the same time. (i.e. within a couple hundred years or so), so they are not exact.
Ok, I will stop typing now, since I could go off on some tangent about the Faiyum and who knows where that will end up!
Here is the bust [link]
Please leave comments, I need to know what to work on.
